In July 2024, BYD officially inaugurated its new electric vehicle production facility in Rayong, Thailand. The plant was completed in just 16 months and has an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles.

According to BYD, the facility includes stamping, painting, welding, final assembly and the production of automotive components, creating a comprehensive manufacturing process within the plant.
